Core Drilling
Core drilling is a technique used to extract cylindrical samples from concrete structures. It involves using a specialized drill with a diamond-tipped bit to create precise, clean holes in concrete without causing damage to the surrounding material. This method is commonly used for tasks like installing plumbing, electrical conduits, or anchors. Core drilling is ideal for situations where accurate, deep holes are needed, and it ensures minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
At Southcore our core holes range from every size and we have a mess free/ anti slurry technology to ensure a clean core each time.
Penetrations
Penetration cut-outs in concrete are openings made in concrete to allow things like pipes, wires, or ducts to pass through. This is done using tools like diamond drills or saws.

Expansion Cuts
Expansion cuts in concrete are grooves made to let the concrete expand and shrink without cracking. They’re usually added in large concrete surfaces, like floors or sidewalks, to keep the concrete stable.
